My Summer Must-Haves!

so i'm blogging after watching the NCAA game. It was super intense. Down to the last second! I thought i wanted Duke to win, but after the first half, i was rooting for Butler. I mean, c'mon! They were so close!! :( anyways...
the weather has been so nice lately. i LOVE it. so it's got me in that summer mood so i'l just list the stuff that i will be sportin' this summuh <3

BEAUTY
-SUNSCREEN! I love the Neutrogena Fresh Cooling Body Mist
-Gradual Tanner- i like Bare Bronze from VS.
I used to think that the only good wasy of getting a tan is to sit out in the sun everyday. But this tanner proved me wrong. It looks glowy and natural :)
-MAC's lip TLC- has spf. moisturizes. conditions. gives a tint. perfection for my lips. BTW: try to stay away from lip gloss if you're going to stay out in the sun cause it attracts more UV rays.
-Urban Decays 24/7 Liners- in electric, covet, lust, and lucky. GORGEOUS COLORS. plus these liners won't smudge even under the hot weather

CLOTHES
-Rompers! they are so in right now! F21 has really cutte ones right now for $7
-Loose tank tops- i know summer's the time where most girls wear really tight clothing and think they can get away with it... but this summer it's all about the loose big tank top! it's cute over a bathing suit or just a white beater or cami underneath.
-bandeaus they are freakin' adorable! plus it will not leave horrible tan lines :)
-neon- uh, neon is always in esp in the summer!

MISC
-white watches- after rooming Nordstroms last year, i saw Michael Kor's Ceramic Watches. O MY GUUUH. i needed it! but i just couldn't fork out $225 for a watch...so i looked for cheaper versions of it. I found it after months of searching! It's from Fossil for $85
-WATER- gotta stay hydrated.
-book- if you're laying by the poolside you need to read. i am lovin' DEAR JOHN by Nicolas Sparks.
-wristlets- instead of hauling that big ol' purse of yours, just carry a wristlet! all you really need is $$ and cards

so i'm keeping up with my resolution to update my blog more :)
let me just tell ya, seeing "2010" is soo weird... but in a good way! it's the start of a new decade so let's make it a good one.

so this post is going to do a review on . . . . Maybelline's ColorSensational Lipstick.

I have mine is #25--Pink Please.
in the tue it looks like a pretty light pink color. Once applied on the lips, it gives you the same color and it does not dry your lips out. However, if you're like me, and put more than one layer of lipstick and go over it 2 times or so, it will creep into the lines of your lips and the color doesn't look too pretty. it turns into just a regular pink. personally, i LOVE nudey lips. so if it's just a regular pink, i consider it dark. the smell of these are sorta weird. smells cheap and what not.
so...

PROS:
-not drying if you apply just one layer
-pigmented
-nice sleek packaging
-decent color selection
-lasts longer than most drugstore lipsticks

CONS:
-can look drying and dark if you apply more than one layer

Sooo, i think y'all should check it out! you can find it at most drugstores..

new skincare!

i feel like i ddo the same posts all the time! its either my favorite products/skincare/updates
well one of my new year resolutions is to update this blog more and commit more time to it.

well as you all might know, i loooove acnefree! it really improved my skin. buuttt i needed to kick it up a notch. i need to get rid of my acne! so for xmas i actually got a gift set of YUHAN M&ACNE SKINCARE. i know i know, you're saying "WHAT DA DUCK?!?!" well, it's a korean skincare line and it's not super popular. so sorrry if you can't get it.
i've used it since christmas so about 4 days now? and so far...i think its ok. i don't wanna jimx it so i'll give y'all an update later.

favorite products of 2009

i am so ready for 2010! for me, 2009 [beauty wise] was when i learned what looks and works for me and not to try to do something out of my comfort zone cause usually i cn't rock itt.

ACNE FREE SKIN CARE SYSTEm
this has saved my skin. although it didn't vanish my acne, it reduced it majorly!

LIPSTICKS
i don't like the dark pigmention of mt lips. lipsticks just make me feel like a rockstar ya knoww? i really like MAC's Hue, L'oreals Color RICHE in fairest nude. loveeee.

L'OREAL LINEUR INTENSE
i've always hated using liquid liner. it always came out uneven, and was so hard to use! not with this baby. love it. i just reccommended it to one of my friends today actually and she loves it!

BARE STUDY PAINT POT
really good eye shadow base. at first, me and this product didn't come off to a good start. he was kinda dry and goopy. but now he's smoooth and creamy! and he doesn't crease on me woooot!!

MAC 'HEY' EYEDHADOW
you can only find this in the fafi eyes 1 quad which is LE. but this color is sososososso pretty. it compliments my skintone and looks pretty natural.

MAC 217 BRUSH
AWESOME. GET IT NOW. I LOVE IT.

EQUATE NEUTROGENA OIL FREE MAKEUP REMOVER
it gently removes the makeup including the oh-so-lovely mascara with ease.

VIVA LA JUICY EDP
love! works well with my body chemistry. i get lots of compliments on it. it has a fruity sweet smell but still ugh idk! i like it. kinda strong for my taste but still bearable.

CHI SILK INFUSION
i love it! it gets rid of my hair's frizziiness and smooths it down. seriously, my hair dries straighter cause of this stuff. i don't even use flat irons anymore.

Products That I don't love =(

The title says it all. These products are things that I don't reccommend just because they have not worked for me.

MAC Dazzleglass- too sticky/thick. waste of $18.

Clinique's Dramatically Moisturizing Lotion- i used to like it but its making my skin too oily and it's clogging my pores.

Icing Nail Polishes- not pigmented. finish is dry. not long-wearing.

NYX's Jumbo EyeShadow Pencil- it creases on me after 20 minutes. It would work if you have drier lids.

MACARAS-note : i have stubby lashes. so these mascaras just did not do much for me at all. WILL NOT REPURCHASE.

-DuWop Lash Venom< worst.

Current favorites/HG materials.

So i'm the kind of person who loooves to try new products and can never stay faithful to one. i'm a cosmetics whore =\
anyways, there are a new products that i like[almost LOVE] & have re-purchased.

SKIN:
-acnefree : this is my skin savior.
-nivea's soft refreshingly moisturizing cream. : makes my body sooo soft and moisturized without the stickiness/greasey feeel.
-neutrogena's oil-free eye makeup remover: best eye makeup remover evuh! although it's oily, it takes everything off! i have tried the non-brand name ones{target, cvs, etc} & i personally prefer the equate's one that you can get at walmart.
-aquanil HC: you cant buy this at the drugstore. i bought mine online at dermstore.com
it reliefs itch, rash, and bodyacne.
-dove's skin revitalizer: good for a deeper clean. I like using this when i break out because it seems to stop my skin from going crazier. Also good for sensitive skin.

MAKEUP:
eyeliner: l'oreal linuer intense. this product makes liquid eyeliner application a breeeze! srsly, i used to hate liquid liner but now i lllllooooves it.
as for pencil liners i like revlon colorstay & urban decay's 24/7

mascara: havven't found my HG but i do reallllly like the l'oreal telescopic mascara. but i'm lemming for the MUFE smoky lash.

lipgloss: MAC's Cremesheen Glass- this lipgloss is NOT sticky and not thick. gives incredible shine and lasts for a good amount of time. WAY better than the dazzleglasses.

lipstick: MAC's Hue. My perfect nudey pink lip.

lipbalm: CARMEX. cheap. effective. spf15. amazing.

eyeshadow: MAC has amazing eyeshadows, but i prefer NYX's just cause they're affordable.

HAIR:
samysilk: best hair replenishing stuff. makes my dry ends look alive, but the kitchen-lemony smell is not a plus.

CHI silk infusion. good to put in your hair to give it shine and smoothness.

NAILS:
i am loving OPI's Lincoln Park at Midnight. It's a nice dark plum with purple/silver shimmer. A great fall colour.
